New View In Illustrator Captures Layer Visibility

I just found out that saving a new view through illustrator’s View > New View function not only captures your zoom and your current view, but it also remembers which layers are turned on or off. How AWESOME is that!!!! Now I can use Illustrator as an ad hoc presentation program, turning layers on and off with a flick of a button (too bad no keyboard shortcuts for this)
