Replacing Character Styles with Paragraph Styles in InDesgin

Don’t you HATE it when designers don’t know the difference between Paragraph Styles and Character Styles? I would get these documents where entire paragraphs are tagged with a character style, making it really frustrating to work with. Find/Change format to the rescue!

  • Find Format: whatever character style you are targeting
  • Replace Format: your defined Paragraph Style
  • Delete the character style for good measure
