InDesign: Convert Text to Table Dialog Box

I never really looked closely at the Convert Text to Table dialog box before. It’s actually pretty neat.

When your text has no built in delimiters (everything is in paragraphs) you can set your column and row separator to be the same thing. Then, the Number of Colums field will light up, allow you to choose how many columns to make before it wraps around to start a new row. Pretty Neat.

Also, for the seperators, you can choose [other] by just typing in your delimiter text. Forced Line breaks doesn’t work though.
