Rotate, Skew and Transform Pages in InDesign CS5

This is so amazingly cool. In CS5, you can apply transforms to the page itself!

  • Select an object and apply a transform (rotate, skew..etc)
  • Change to the Page Tool and select a page
  • Choose Transform Again to apply that transformation to the page.

The original post is on InDesign Secrets, from Mike Rankin, http://indesignsecrets.com/transforming-pages-in-cs5.php

I would definitely recommend following the link and reading some of the very insightful comments on the thread, it asks really pertinent information such as ‘how does that print?’ and ‘what is this feature good for?” Also, I’m stealing his screenshot.
