InDesign CS5 Presentation Screen Mode

InDesign CS5 introduces a new screen mode: Presentation.

It does what it says, it switches your InDesign into a presentation. All the interface disappears and the cursor becomes a little hand. When you click you advance to the next page/spread. Shift click to go back up the presentation.

The first thing I tried to do was to add page transitions to see if the screen mode supports page transitions… sadly, no go.

  • View > Screen Mode > Presentation [Shift+W]
  • [Click] to advance to next page/spread
  • [Shift+Click] to … um… retreat (?) to the previous page/spread
  • Does not support animations or page transitions.
